POST METRIC SCHOLARSHIP FUND RELEASE
Arunachal Pradesh Student Scholarship:Arunachal Pradesh Government has released a total sum of Rs 53.26 Crore earmarked for student scholarships and stipend. The financial help from the state government comes amid the hardships faced by students during the public health crisis of Coronavirus pandemic. Chief Minister Pema Khandu sent out a tweet giving details about the decision. In his tweet he said that a total amount of Rs Rs 53.26 crore as stipend and scholarship for a total of 38,594 students has been released by the state government on Friday.
He first installment of PMS, amounting to Rs 23.50 crore, has been released for 20,500 students who would get an amount of Rs 11,500 each, official sources said and amount of Rs 29.76 crore was also released as state stipend for 18,094 students who would get Rs 16,400 each, they said.
