Directorate of education (DEE), Assam has released a notification for the recruitment of 3941 vacancy of Assistant Teacher of LP Schools and Assistant Teacher, teacher , Assamese Language Teacher and Manipuri Language Teacher of UP Schools under the Directorate of education , Assam.
Job Details:-| Assistant Teacher (LP) | (a) H.S (or its equivalent) with a minimum of 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in education (by whatever name known). OR H. S Passed (or its equivalent) with a minimum of 45% marks and 2-year Diploma in education (by whatever name known) in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations 2002. OR Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with a minimum of 50% marks and 4-Year Bachelor of education (B.E1.Ed.) OR Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with a minimum of 50% marks and 2-Year Diploma in Education (Special Education) |
| Science Teacher (UP): | B. Sc. from the UGC recognized University and 2-year Diploma in education or B. Ed. or D. Ed. (Special Education) or B. Ed. (Special Education) and passed in Assam TET for UPS (Science and Mathematics) conducted by education Department, Assam. |
| Assamese Language Teacher: | Graduate from the UGC recognized University having Assamese together of the themes and 2-year Diploma in education or B.Ed. or D.Ed. (Special Education) or B. Ed. (Special Education) and passed in Assam TET for UPS conducted by education Department, Assam. |
| Manipuri Language Teacher: | Graduate from the UGC recognized University having Manipuri together of the themes and 2-year Diploma in education or B.Ed. or D.Ed. (Special Education) or B. Ed. (Special Education) and passed in Assam TET for UPS conducted by education Department, Assam. |

| A candidate must not be but 18 years aged and less than 40 years for unreserved category, 42 years for Ex-Servicemen, 43 years for OBC/ MOBC and 45 years for SC/ST(P)/ST(H) and 50 years for Persons with Disability (PwD), as on 1st January, 2020 as per Govt. Office Memorandum vide No. ABP.6/2016/51 Dated 02.09.2020. This relaxation shall be applicable only to those candidates who have attained the required educational or other qualifications before crossing of their existing upper regulation of 40 years |
