National Investigation Agency (NIA) has released a notification for the recruitment posts of 70 Inspector, Sub-Inspector (SI), Accountant and Stenographer Grade-I vacancies.


NIA-Guwahati-Jobs

1. Inspector
No of posts: 17

Eligibility Criteria:
(a) The officers of the Central Government or government or Union Territories:-
(i) Holding analogous Name of Posts on regular basis within the parent cadre or department; or
(ii) With 5 years’ service within the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in name only of Posts within the Salary Band-2 of Rs 9300-34800 with Grade Salary Rs 4200/- within the parent cadre or department; and
(b) Possessing the subsequent educational qualifications and experiences:-
(i) Degree in any discipline from a recognized university; and
(ii)2 (Two years)’ experience in handling of cases of investigation of criminal cases, or intelligence work or operations or Information Technology cases or Training in counter terrorism.

2. Sub-Inspector
No of posts: 43

Eligibility Criteria:
(a) The officers of the Central Government or government or Union Territories:-
(i) Holding analogous Name of Posts in regular basis within the parent cadre or department; or
(ii) With 6 years’ service within the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis within the Salary Band-1 of Rs 5200-20200 with Grade Salary of Rs 2800/- within the parent cadre or department; and
(b) Possessing the subsequent educational qualifications and experiences:-
(i) Degree in any discipline from a recognized university; and
(ii) 2 (Two years) experiance in handling of cases of investigation of criminal cases, or intelligence work or operation or Information Technology cases or Training in counter terrorism.

3. Accountant
No of posts: 2

Eligibility Criteria:
(a) The officers of the Central Government or government or Union Territories:-
(i) Holding analogous Name of Posts in regular basis within the parent cadre or department; or
(ii) With 6 years’ service within the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis within the Salary Band-1 of Rs 5200-20200 with Grade Salary of Rs 2800/- within the parent cadre or department; and
(b) Possessing the subsequent educational qualifications and experiences:-
(i) Degree in any discipline from a recognized university; and
(ii) A pass I the subordinate Accounts Service (SAS) examination conducted by organised Accounts Department or the Central Government ; OR
Must have undergone training in cash and Accounts add the Institute of Secretarial Training and Management (ISTM) or equivalent and three years' experience in cash, accounts and budget work

4. Name of Posts: Stenographer Grade-I
No of posts: 8

Eligibility Criteria:
(a) The officers of the Central Government or government or Union Territories:-
(i) Holding analogous Name of Posts in regular basis within the parent cadre or department; or
(ii) With 6 years’ service within the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis within the Salary Band-1 of Rs 5200-20200 with Grade Salary of Rs 2800/- within the parent cadre or department; and
(b) Possessing the subsequent educational qualifications and experiences:-
(i) Degree in any discipline from a recognized university; and
(ii) Possessing computer proficiency.

Job Location -  Delhi, Lucknow, Guwahati, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Kochi, Raipur, Jammu and Chandigarh) including Guwahati on absorption/ deputation basis.

Note:The Nomination of Eligible officials along side following documents should reach to the SP (Adm), NIA HQ, Opposite CGO Complex, Lodhi Road, New Delhi-110003 through proper channel within 01 month from the date of publication of this item in ‘Employment News’.

i) Bio-data in prescribed proforma (Annexure-II) (available in NIA website www.nia.gov.in/recruitment-notice.htm duly countersigned by the competent authority.
ii) Up thus far APAR dossier from the year 2014-15 to 2018-19 (in case photocopies are being sent, it's getting to be ensured that the same are attested on each page with rubber stamp by an official not below the rank of Under Secretary to the govt. of India).
iii) Vigilance Clearance Certificate and Integrity Certificate issued by the respective department.
iv) the tiny print of major/minor penalties imposed on the official during the last 10 years.
