Assam Public Service Commission has released a notification for the recruitment of 566 Assistant Engineer (Civil) and Junior Engineer (Civil) vacancies under Panchayat And Rural Development Department. (PNRD), Govt. of Assam.
Post Details:-
1. Post Name- Assistant Engineer (Civil) Under Panchayat And Rural Development Department.
Total No Of Post:- 222
Qualification-
(i) B.E or equivalent degree in engineering obtained from any institute approved by the AICTE and recognized by Government.
(ii) The Bachelors Degree in engineering must be a daily Course. Bachelors Degree in engineering obtained through Distance Mode of Education, by whatever name called, won't be accepted.
(iii) aside from English, the candidate should have adequate knowledge of a minimum of 1(one) official language of the State of Assam.
2. Post Name- :- Junior Engineer (Civil) Under Panchayat And Rural Development Department.
Total No Of Post:-:- 344
Qualification-(i) A Candidate must have passed Engineering (Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering) obtained from any institution approved by the AICTE and recognized by Government.
(ii) The Diploma/Degree in engineering must be a daily Course. Diploma/Degree in engineering obtained through Distance Mode of Education, by whatever name called, won't be accepted.
(iii) aside from English, the candidate should have adequate knowledge of a minimum of 1(one) official language of the State of Assam.
3. Post Name- :- Assistant Architect under Public Works (Building & NH) Department.
Total No Of Post:- 11 (Eleven)
Qualification-
(i) Degree in Architecture from an Indian or Foreign University
recognized by the Government.
(ii) Candidate should be registered with the Council of Architecture, India.
(iii) aside from English, the candidate should have adequate knowledge of at least one official language of the State of Assam.
Note:- Language (i,e. Assamese or Bengali or Bodo)

1. General/EWS Candidate : Rupees two hundred and fifty (Rs.250/- ) only.
2. SC/ST/OBC/MOBC : Rs.Rupees one hundred and fifty (150/- ) only.

(Note-Fees should be deposited through Treasury Challan within the Head of Account “NON tax income , OTHER NON tax income 0051 PSC, 105 STATE PSC APPLICATION FEE RECEIPT OF APSC” ) OR Fees are often deposited online using Government Receipt Accounting System-GRAS (Website: https://assamegras.gov.in). Candidates may pay the requisites fees (as admissible for the category mentioned above). Printed copy of Treasury Challan generated through GRAS should be submitted along side the application form.
