Assam Police Constable Recruitment 2020/Apply For Online

       Application are invited from eligible candidates for the following  positions at under Directorate of Civil Defence and Home Guards, Assam.

Name of post: Constable /Guardsman (Grade-III)

No of posts: 451 [UR: 331, SC: 43, STH: 28, STP: 49]

Pay: Pay Scale of Rs. 14000-60500/-, with Grade pay of Rs 5600/-(Pay Band-II).

Assam Police Eligibility Criteria:

Age: 18 to 38 years as on 1st January of 2020 (i.e. the candidate must change state on or before 01.01.2002 and on or after 01.01.1982).

Relaxations : Upper regulation are going to be relaxed for:

(i) Five years in respect of candidates belonging to SC, ST(P) and ST(H).

(ii) Three years in respect of candidates belonging to OBC/MOBC.

Educational Qualification: Matric passed from a recognized Board / Council.

Other Qualification: Home Guards Training Certificate or NCC ‘A’ Certificate.

Assam Police Recruitment Selection Process 2020:

Assam Police Constable Recruitment Selection Process 2020 includes three stages

a) Physical Standards Tests (PST)

b) Physical Efficiency Tests (PET) and 

c) Written Test

PHYSICAL STANDARDS:
i. Height (Minimum) Male Female
a) Gen/OBC/MOBC/SC 162.56 cm 154.94 cm
b) ST(H)/ ST(P) 160.02 cm 152.40 cm
ii. Chest (Only for men) Normal Expanded
a) Gen/OBC/MOBC/SC/ST(P) etc, 80Cm 85 Cm
b) ST(H) 78 Cm 83 Cm
