Polytechnic Admission Test (PAT) -2020, Director of Technical Education, Assam (DTE) Notification Last date Extended

 Director of Technical Education, Assam  has released online Application are invited official notification of  PAT-2020 for admission into Diploma Courses in the following State Government Polytechnics of Assam and Polytechnics outside Assam.

Assam PAT Eligibility Criteria

Those applicants are going to apply for the examination of Assam PAT, they have to check the eligibility criteria before filling the application form and the eligibility criteria have mentioned below for candidates.

The applicants should be qualified in the 10th or 12th examination from the state education board.

Candidates Who are permanent Resident of Assam

In the qualifying examination, candidates should have 40% marks in average in mathematics and science

The SC candidates have to score 35% marks

The ST candidates have to score 33% marks

Those applicants will belong from the general category, they should bear on or after 1st Aug 1997 and SC/ST candidates must bear or after 1st Aug 1994.

Important Dates:

Online application	: 01-03-2020 to 25-04-2020
Issue of Online Admit Card	: To be notified
Date of Admission Test	: 10-05-2020

Application Fee: An application fee of Rs.500/- [plus bank charges as applicable] is to be paid using “State Bank Collect” which facilitates payment through Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking.
Payment may also be made in cash at any State Bank of India after generating the Cash Deposit Form from “State Bank Collect’ in last step of Application. Further instructions will be available during the online application process.
Test Center/s: Admission Test will be held in below centers at

Tezpur, Mangaldoi, Tinisukia and Govt of Assam Polytechnics center and institutions

Examination Date: 10/05/2020 (Sunday)
Examination Timing: 10 AM to 12 Noon
Subject: Mathematics & Science
Full Marks: 100
Type of Question Paper: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ)
How to apply: Candidates are to apply online by logging into www.dte.assam.gov.in and click on "Online Application for PAT-2020" will start from 01/03/2020 and will remain open till 25/04/2020

1. Please visit to www.dte.assam.gov.in and click on Online Application for PAT 2020, Click on “Applicant Login” situated in the Menu bar, an Applicant Login Screen will appear. Sign in your account using your ‘Application Number’ & your ‘Date of Birth (DOB)’. You’ll be taken to the online Applicant Login Page.

1. Click on ‘Download Admit Card’ (available after admit issue date as above)

1. Your Admit Card will be generated. You can now take the Print out of your ADMIT CARD.

Application are not  physically submitted at the Directorate of Technical Education, Assam and No Ta /Da given in to the attended interview.
